Withdrawals / The rules

Withdrawal policy

This page is the complete set of rules for taking money out: which methods you can use, what checks apply before a payment is released, the limits on each request, and the specific circumstances in which a withdrawal can be delayed. It complements the method table on the deposit and withdrawal page.

Withdrawal methods and currencies

Withdrawals are made in pounds sterling to a UK bank account, a UK PayPal account or a Visa card, using the same verified details you use for deposits wherever possible. Where you deposited by a method that cannot receive payments, such as some prepaid cards, we will ask for a bank account in your own name. We do not send withdrawals to third-party accounts, business accounts not matching your verified identity, or accounts in other people's names, however the request is justified.

Minimum and maximum amounts

The minimum withdrawal is £20 per request; anything below that is treated as a balance the platform cannot economically process and remains in your account until it reaches the threshold. The daily maximum is £150,000 per account. Requests above the daily maximum are split across consecutive days by the payments team, and you will be told the schedule in advance rather than discovering it on your statement.

Step by step: requesting a withdrawal

  • Open the payments section of your dashboard and choose the withdrawal method.
  • Enter the amount and confirm the destination details on screen before submitting.
  • Enter the single-use code sent to your registered email or authenticator to authorise the request.
  • Receive a written confirmation with a reference number and the expected processing window.

A request is not complete until the authorisation code is entered. If you abandon the process partway, nothing is deducted and no payment is scheduled.

Identity and security checks

Every account must complete identity verification before the first withdrawal, in line with UK anti-money-laundering expectations set out on our AML / KYC page. On individual requests we may apply additional checks: confirming the destination account matches your verified name, reviewing recent password or 2FA changes, or calling you on your registered number when a request is unusual in size, timing or destination. These checks exist to stop your money going to someone else.

Processing times per method

MethodPlatform processingTypical arrival
UK bank transferWithin 24 hoursSame or next working day after release
PayPalWithin 24 hoursMinutes to a few hours after release
Visa cardWithin 24 hours1 to 5 business days, issuer dependent

The 24-hour window refers to our internal approval and release. Arrival after release depends on the receiving institution; card issuers in particular batch their credits, which is why the Visa window is stated in business days.

Fees applied to withdrawals

We charge no platform fee on withdrawals by any method. Your bank, PayPal or card issuer may apply its own receiving charges, and any currency conversion performed by them is at their rates. If a receiving institution returns a payment because the details were wrong, we will re-send it once the correct details are confirmed; the receiving institution's return charge, if any, is deducted from the returned amount.

Reasons a withdrawal can be delayed

  • Identity verification is incomplete or documents have been requested and not yet received.
  • The destination details do not match your verified name or require clarification.
  • The request is unusually large and additional review or a confirmation call is applied.
  • A security flag is active on the account, such as a recent password change followed by a withdrawal attempt.
  • An open complaint or investigation concerns the funds in question.
  • Unsettled trading fees or the monthly subscription are due on the account.

In each case we tell you the reason and what is needed, in writing, within the standard 24-hour processing window. A delay never means the money has left your account: funds stay in place until the review concludes.

Cancelling or amending a request

You can cancel an amendment-stage request from the dashboard before it enters processing. Once a payment has been released to the banking system it cannot be recalled by us, and any correction has to be handled as a new movement. If you realise an error after release, contact [email protected] immediately with the reference number so we can ask the receiving institution to intervene.

Dormant and closed accounts

On closing an account you may withdraw the full balance subject to the same minimums. If an account sits with a balance below £20 and no activity for twelve months, we will contact you at the registered email before any dormant-account procedure is considered, and there is no dormant balance fee. Verified balances are always returnable to you on request.

Problems and disputes

If a withdrawal misses the published window or you disagree with a decision, write to [email protected] and the matter is handled as a formal complaint under the process on our complaints page, including the route to the Financial Ombudsman Service. Trading involves risk, including the loss of the capital you invest; withdrawal terms do not limit that risk.
