Cryptocurrency monitoring

Crypto markets run every hour of every day; your attention should not have to. This service watches the major digital assets continuously, alerts you at the levels you set, and writes the session up in plain English for whenever you choose to look.

Crypto trading involves risk, including the loss of the capital you invest.

What this service is

Cryptocurrency monitoring is a continuous observer for the assets you choose. The engine tracks price, trend and volatility around the clock, compares the current tape against how each asset has behaved historically, and produces a written summary per session. When something you decided matters happens, a price crossed, a volatility threshold tripped, the platform writes to you with the reasoning attached.

The service never trades for you. That is a design decision, not a missing feature: strategies that act without you also risk without you, and the role of this platform is to make you better informed at the moment you decide. Every action on your account is yours, confirmed by you and logged as yours.

Assets covered

Watchlists centre on the major, deeply liquid assets: BTC and ETH first, then SOL, XRP and the other large names carried on the site's ticker band. The engine's coverage emphasises assets where data is deep and liquidity is real, because readings on thin, illiquid coins are noise dressed as analysis. The market ticker on every page shows GBPUSD, EURGBP, gold and the top crypto pairs for context.

If an asset you want is not on the list, ask your adviser. Where the answer is no, it will be because liquidity or data quality would make the reading unreliable, and we would rather say that than sell you a number. The crypto basics page explains why liquidity shapes this choice.

Monitoring that never sleeps

Crypto's round-the-clock schedule is the reason this product exists. Weekends, bank holidays and the small hours are exactly when sharp moves happen, and a human watcher either sacrifices sleep or misses them. The engine holds the watch instead, and your alert levels decide which moments are worth interrupting your life for; everything else waits in the session summary.

Monitoring is also pattern-aware. The engine knows that a 4% hourly move means something different for BTC than for XRP, and it adapts thresholds to each asset's own behaviour rather than applying one blunt rule. You see this in the alerts: the same asset can be flagged quiet one week and active the next, because its regime changed, not because a setting did.

How alerts work

An alert is a written message with evidence: which level was crossed, at what time, and what the engine makes of the context. Levels are yours to set and change: prices for entries and exits you are considering, drawdown lines that protect a position, and volatility thresholds that tell you a regime has changed. On your setup call, your adviser typically sets the first levels deliberately wide, to teach the platform's rhythm before it earns tighter trust.

Alerts arrive by email, so nothing depends on an app store or a notification channel you may have muted. Each alert links into the dashboard, where the full reasoning trail, the summary and the asset's history sit one tap away.

Risk in crypto markets

Crypto is the most volatile asset class this platform covers, and the honesty of that sentence is the product's foundation. Double-digit weekly moves happen in both directions, drawdowns of 50% and more have happened repeatedly in this market's short history, and recovery from deep losses requires disproportionately large gains. The engine's summaries exist to inform decisions, not to soften this arithmetic.

Two structural risks deserve naming here because they are specific to this asset class: exchange counterparty risk, your funds sit on the venue you connect and inherit its fortunes, and gap risk, prices can jump past exit levels in thin hours. Both, with the rest, are set out in the risk disclosure, which we ask every crypto user to read in full.

Fees and spreads

The monthly subscription of your plan covers the monitoring: £19 on Basic from a £250 minimum deposit, £45 on Advanced from £1,500, £95 on Premium from £5,000. Crypto trades carry the per-position fee of 0.3% to 0.5% by plan, plus a platform spread of up to 1.0% on Basic, 0.8% on Advanced and 0.6% on Premium, all stated on the fees page. Deposits by Faster Payments, Visa, Mastercard and PayPal are free, and withdrawals carry no platform fee.

Security of connected funds

The platform connects to your exchange with a read-only key that you create and can revoke at any time; it can see market data, and it can never move funds. Withdrawals travel only to verified destinations in your own name, under the checks described on the security page and the rules of the withdrawal policy. Two-factor authentication and login alerts are standard on every account.

Who it suits, and getting started

This service suits investors who want crypto exposure with a defined attention budget: shift workers, professionals with full weeks, and travellers who cannot and should not watch charts constantly. It does not suit anyone seeking a passive income machine; if that is the expectation, the honest answer is that no such product exists, and our fraud warning page describes the people who claim otherwise.

Starting is one form away on this page. Your adviser calls within 24 hours, verification follows with a photo ID and a selfie, you fund from £250 on Basic, and your first watchlist and alert levels are built with you on the setup call. From there, the weekly rhythm is yours: summaries when you choose, alerts when they matter.

Building your first watchlist

A first crypto watchlist works best when it is deliberately small: BTC and ETH as the anchors, whose behaviour the whole market takes its cue from, plus at most one or two others you specifically want to learn. Anchor assets give the engine the richest history to read against and give you the calmest introduction to how summaries are phrased. Adding the long tail on day one produces many readings and little understanding.

Alert levels follow the same principle of restraint. Wide price corridors and a volatility threshold per asset teach you each coin's normal noise before the thresholds are tightened into anything that interrupts dinner. On the monthly call your adviser reviews which alerts fired and which were ignored, and the levels are tuned against how you actually behaved rather than how you expected to.

Reading the session summary

Each session summary has the same shape, on purpose: state of the trend, change in volatility, and any event worth naming, each with its evidence linked. The consistency is what makes it fast to read; after a fortnight most users scan a summary in under a minute because they know where the answer to their question lives. The reasoning trail behind any line is one tap away for the moments a summary surprises you.

Summaries also carry confidence phrasing, so a reading drawn from a configuration the asset has visited many times reads differently from one with little precedent behind it. That distinction matters most in this asset class, where genuinely new price areas are common and the temptation to lean on weak analogy is strong.
